Joyce Ong is an experienced marketer and mobile marketing specialist who helps businesses get better reach of their customers at the right place and the right time through mobile technology. As the founder of Marketing Tech she helps small and medium businesses to generate a positive return on their marketing investment by building customer loyalty and converting followers into paying customers.
Joyce has twenty-five years of Corporate and SME marketing experience and a passion for marketing technology. She champions SMEs by helping them harness affordable mobile technology (web, native apps and adaptive websites), in order to engage their customers and followers in cool, clever and personalised ways, generating a return on their marketing investments. Together with her technology partner, Eazi-Apps, Joyce takes great pleasure in helping ambitious, small businesses to grow.
Originally from Singapore, Joyce studied Mathematics, Botany and Zoology at the National University of Singapore, before going on to gain an MBA in Business Administration and Strategic Management from the University of Strathclyde. Upon graduating, she moved to Zurich, where she worked in a number of roles for Credit Suisse, rising through the ranks to become the Vice President of Strategic Marketing Projects.
In 2006, having also worked for a short time at American Express as a marketing contractor, Joyce founded and managed a UK immigration practice, The London Link, which advised and represented private clients in all aspects of UK immigration law, with a particular interest in assisting non-EU nationals applying for Entrepreneur visas.
In 2016, The London Link merged with anther immigration firm and Joyce now acts as a business development manager for it, as well as running her latest business, Marketing Tech. Marketing Tech’s vision is to help as many SMEs as possible to harness the power of mobile technology to help them to grow, whether it is through progressive or native apps, or other technology that it available, affordable and commercially tried and tested.
